King's (The King Trilogy Book 1)...Review

This book has to be one of the best I have read. Well....since my last Mimi Jean Pamfiloff anyways. I wasn't sure what to expect of this story but it was very addictive. I literally couldn't put it down. King is the quintessential alpha. However, he is so much more than I had expected. He is obviously attractive, strong, and dangerous. He is also something else although even at the end of the book I still had no idea what. Mia is leading a normal life until the phone call that her brother and his crew have been kidnapped while on an archeological dig in Mexico. She turns everywhere for help before being pointed in King's direction. She is told he is "the man who can find anything" but there is always a price. He agrees to help but in exchange he owns her indefinitely.
The story has steamy, erotic bits and lots of danger. There are also supernatural elements. My only issue... ended on a cliffhanger and now is must immediately buy book 2 and 3.
