The Rage of Plum Blossoms by Christine M. Whitehead
****I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.***
I loved this book! I was drawn to the book initially by it's cover. The design and color scheme are very appealing to the eye. I read the description and then knew I had to reach out to the author who graciously sent me a copy. I sat down late one night to start reading it and knew within the first 3 pages that I was going to be hooked so I waited until my mini vacation. I did indeed read it from beginning to end in 1 sitting.
Quinn Jones Chang is a divorce lawyer in Manhattan who waited until she was in her mid 30's to finally find love and settle down. Her husband, Jordan, is everything to her so when he winds up dead in what appears to be a suicide she is beyond devastated. She refuses to believe that the honorable man she married would ever do something so cowardly. She begins to look for clues to prove it was a murder and before you know it people are trying to kill her. She meets some guys along the way that believe her and a very unlikely little "detective" club forms.
I don't want to give away too much info but this was such a fantastic book. I have already recommended it to several of my friends. It is hands down one of my favorites that I have read in a long time.
