Ash and Quill by Rachel Caine is FANTASTIC

This is the 3rd book in what I have recently found out will be a total of 5 books.  I enjoyed the first 2 so much that I was on pins and needles waiting for this book.  I almost passed out when I was lucky enough to get picked to receive an ARC ( hence the not so colorful pic above) from NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group. This one picked right up where I left off in the previous book without missing a beat. I just can not get enough of these characters. I would be lying if I didn't say that I really love the badass ladies of the group. A book about books and an evil Library that writes history as it sees fit is a genius concept. The way the characters interact with each other to form a family is one of my favorite things about the series.  I agreed to give my honest opinion of this book voluntarily and I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Why not 5? I am dying from suspense due to the extreme cliffhanger I was not ready for.

Here is a quick blurb compliments of NetGalley for those of you not too familiar with this series:

The unforgettable characters from Ink and Bone and Paper and Fire unite to save the Great Library of Alexandria from itself in this electrifying adventure in the New York Times bestselling series.

Hoarding all the knowledge of the world, the Great Library jealously guards its secrets. But now a group of rebels poses a dangerous threat to its tyranny....

Jess Brightwell and his band of exiles have fled London, only to find themselves imprisoned in Philadelphia, a city led by those who would rather burn books than submit. But Jess and his friends have a bargaining chip: the knowledge to build a machine that will break the Library’s rule.

Their time is running out. To survive, they’ll have to choose to live or die as one, to take the fight to their enemies—and to save the very soul of the Great Library....

Ash and Quill will be released on July 11. You can get it from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or whatever your favorite retailer is. Just make sure you grab a copy!
