Description
For fans of JP Delaney's The Girl Before and Ruth Ware's The Woman in Cabin 10 comes this hair-raising novel of deception and revenge that will blow readers away.
Vincent, Jules, Sylvie, and Sam are ruthlessly ambitious high-flyers working in the lucrative world of Wall Street finance where deception and intimidation thrive. Getting rich is all that matters, and they'll do anything to reach the top.
When they are ordered to participate in a corporate team-building exercise that requires them to escape from a locked elevator, dark secrets of their team begin to be laid bare.
The biggest mystery to solve in this lethal game: What happened to Sara Hall? Once a young shining star—now "gone but not forgotten”.
This is no longer a game.
They’re fighting for their lives.

My Thoughts
This book is not scheduled to be released until late this Summer but I was so excited that I had to read it right away. The story is told in alternating view points. Every chapter is told from either the viewpoint of the 4 people locked in the elevator or from Sara Hall's P.O.V. I was surprised by a lot of things that happened in this story. I wasn't actually able to guess who the mastermind was until the last couple of chapters of the book. I was in a complete bubble while reading this book. I'm not even kidding, I think my phone rang at least 20 times and I never heard it nor did I hear my family yelling at me that dinner was done. I had never read anything by this author before but now I am absolutely adding her name to my list of favorites. This story just reaches out and grips you and won't let you go until the very end. This is my first 5 star review in quite a while and it has set the bar high for other thriller writers in my opinion.
I could have read this book straight through if there weren't other things to accomplish in my day. You don't have to like the characters or abhor greed to enjoy this tale. I will definitely look for future books by this author.
